Our Story

Electrotek RC was founded in 1996 by Robert Johnston, an avid RC enthusiast since the age of eight in 1953. Combining his many years of experience with life safety and electronics, he developed a unique RC power monitoring device that quickly became popular with his local RC club. When several club members said "hobby shops should sell this"... a new business was started. This one product led to the development of several unique specialty safety and fun products marketed through hundreds of dealers and distributors throughout the world.
